Hai Li, a doctor at Beijing's Nanyuan Hospital, as political advisers of the Beijing committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference urged quicker and deeper reforms of the city's healthcare system during its recent annual meeting.

"It's urgent to take soccer into middle and high schools, establishing soccer fields and educating more teachers. We can select retired soccer coaches or train the current physical education teachers. Considering that some schools don't have enough space, we can build small-scale soccer fields."
