In pictures: two sessions highlights
Each year in early March, China's top legislature and the country's top political advisory body convene in Beijing for their annual meetings, known as the two sessions.
About 5,000 participants from the National People's Congress and the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference descended on Beijing for this year's event, held from March 3 to 15.
