When the group was formed in March 2017, the dance instructors at first were not sure whether it would work, but these women have overcame the difficulties and succeeded in standing on tiptoes, a ballet move called en pointe. Thanks to their efforts, now they are able to perform on the stage.
"Safety first," said Long Jing, one of the ballet performers. "I just let down my tiptoes if I couldn't make it, and I didn't force myself to do anything."
