China policy bank to upgrade financial services for CIIE Release date： 2022-03-14 Source：Multiple
The Export-Import Bank of China plans to improve the financial services it provides to a number of major exhibitions, including the China International Import Expo, this year to bolster the high-quality development of foreign trade, said Hu Xiaolian, chairwoman of the bank.
Other measures to be implemented this year include continuous and stable issuance of foreign trade-related credit, product development targeting micro and small-sized enterprises, further cooperation with partners, as well as risk prevention and control.
The bank has been tapping into its strengths to support China's foreign trade, said Hu. By the end of 2021, its foreign trade-related loan balance was 2.39 trillion yuan ($377.84 billion), up 17 percent year-on-year.
The bank has also intensified efforts to help micro, small and medium-sized enterprises raise funds, encourage companies in the sector to innovate, and develop special financial products and services to support new forms of foreign trade such as cross-border e-commerce and overseas warehouse.
