Since Jin Jun and his uncle founded Chunzhe Organic Rice Farm in Guangdong village of Helong city in 2009 in Yanbian Korean autonomous prefecture, Jilin province, he has strived to promote the local farming industry and help increase his fellow villagers' incomes.
Guangdong is a distinctive village, with 98 percent of its population belonging to the Korean ethnic group.
Jin, 40, returned to his hometown after completing his foreign trade studies in Japan in 2009.
After starting his business, Jin explored ways to boost the incomes of his fellow villagers, such as providing training to improve their cultural and modern knowledge.
