Rescue operations intensify in Longsheng county amid mudslide emergency

A sudden mountain flood and mudslide disaster struck Longsheng county of Guilin city, South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, on Friday morning. Initial assessments indicate that 8 individuals are suspected to be missing, with 10 houses damaged, according to the local government.
The accident occurred in Sanshe village of Sishui town.
Currently, local emergency, firefighting, and law enforcement agencies are actively conducting rescue operations at the scene.
