"Firing Daji pots places extremely high demands on the kiln temperature. With a stable power supply, our electric kilns can precisely control the temperature, allowing the traditional craftsmanship to be passed down from generation to generation!" Lan Erfeng, the inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage of Daji pots, said to the staff members from State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power Company who came for patrol inspection. In order to safeguard this thousand-year-old intangible cultural heritage craftsmanship, State Grid Jingning County Power Supply Company has taken the initiative to extend its services, carried out special "power health checks" in the workshops, and ensured the continuous firing of kilns with a reliable power supply.

"Previously, firing in a firewood kiln required more than a dozen people to take turns for three to four days. After the electrification reform, the electric kiln allows intelligent control, completing the process in 18 hours. The yield rate has surged from the original 40 percent to 98 percent!" Lan Erfeng listed the tremendous changes brought by power substitution. State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power Company has tailored the promotion of power substitution technologies in combination with the scale of the Daji Pot cultural industry and its power consumption needs.

To ensure a foolproof power supply for intangible cultural heritage production, State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power Company has innovatively launched the "Intangible Cultural Heritage Power Protection Package" and formulated a "one workshop, one strategy" service plan. Staff members use infrared thermal imaging cameras to conduct comprehensive temperature monitoring of the workshop's power distribution room, transformers, and electric kiln furnace lines, accurately identifying potential hazards. For key equipment, they inspect item by item for loose wiring and insulation damage, while simultaneously testing voltage stability to ensure "zero fluctuations" during the firing process. Combining power consumption data, they customize energy efficiency optimization plans for inheritors, such as adjusting production schedules using time-of-use electricity prices to save on electricity costs.

State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power Company has deepened the "power supply + culture" model: online, it uses a smart energy platform to monitor loads in real time and push warnings; offline, it regularly opens "intangible cultural heritage power classes" to explain safe electricity use and energy-saving skills, conduct on-site emergency operation drills, and improve the workshop's independent operation and maintenance capabilities. At the same time, it has established a "power inheritance file" for the base, dynamically recording equipment and expansion needs, and opened an "intangible cultural heritage green channel" to ensure seamless connection for process upgrades.

Electricity safeguards the craftsmanship spirit, and lights reflect the inheritance. In the next stage, State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power Company will continue to deepen the integration of "dual carbon + intangible cultural heritage," explore the introduction of green technologies such as photovoltaic and energy storage, and help workshops achieve "zero-carbon firing." It will promote digital inspection methods, provide value-added services such as predictive operation and maintenance, intelligent load regulation, etc, continuously empower the inheritance of traditional culture with "full-power supply," and let Daji pots shine more brilliantly in the new era.
