European students explore modern China through BFSU program


Kaia Jin Ling Utheim Surland, from the University of Bergen in Norway, said she is excited to return to Beijing and explore more of the city.
"I am especially excited about the upcoming trip to Hangzhou because I haven't been there, and I've heard it's truly beautiful," she said.
Clara Jane Hickey, an international relations major at the University of Groningen, said she looks forward to learning about China's diplomacy.
"I'm really excited to gain insights from a Chinese perspective rather than solely European viewpoints," she said.
Victor Guimaraes, from the Norwegian School of Economics, said he hopes to deepen his understanding of both China's history and contemporary life.
"The main focus for me is to gather information and learn more about how businesses can be connected between Norway and China," he said.
