Culture park immerses visitors in illuminating nighttime activities

"I've never seen a greenhouse quite like this. It's truly remarkable," says Luliia Chernyshevskaya, a Russian visitor. "The combination of lights and sounds creates not just natural beauty, but something magical."
The immersive experience also appeals to families. A mother visiting with her 5-year-old daughter shared their journey: "We stayed from afternoon until nighttime, and were delighted by many surprises. The evening brings a mysterious veil to the plants, making them more colorful and enchanting. Walking through it feels like exploring nature's secrets, which thoroughly captivates my daughter."
The program extends beyond the greenhouse garden. Shenyuan Garden, another highlight of the nighttime program, offers subtle lighting that accentuates the classical architecture while interactive installations bring traditional Chinese culture to life.
Visitors can participate in traditional games, experience intangible cultural heritage crafts like lacquer fan-making, and interact with costumed characters who re-create historical nightlife scenes.
"The evening atmosphere creates an immersive experience," says a Shanghai resident surnamed Chen, who has visited the park several times during daylight hours. "The interactive activities offer an authentic glimpse into historical pastimes."
