JINAN -- China's anti-graft chief Li Xi has called for greater efforts to ensure the high-quality development of discipline inspection and supervision work.

When presiding over a symposium to review the progress of discipline inspection and supervision work and solicit opinions and suggestions, Li stressed that discipline inspection and supervision agencies play an important role in advancing the self-reform of the CPC.

Li called on these agencies to intensify efforts in combating misconduct and graft, particularly those affecting people's daily lives, and improve their own capabilities in an effective and persistent manner.
