Amid a prolonged heat wave stressing grid security and stability, the State Grid Taizhou Power Supply Company has completed a live-line connection to the switchgear room of Taizhou Sixth People's Hospital on the west side of Xingang avenue in the city's pharmaceutical high-tech zone. The seamless hook-up is accelerating the delivery of this provincial-level public-health project.

The 124-acre hospital—one of Jiangsu province's flagship people's livelihood initiatives—will offer 83,200 square meters of floor space and represents a total investment of 990 million yuan. To meet its power needs, two new substations with a combined capacity of 7,500 kVA were required. From the outset, the utility engaged the hospital management to map exact load requirements, design an optimal supply scheme, and provide end-to-end, one-to-one technical support. This included guidance on the code-compliant construction of the switchgear rooms and real-time troubleshooting to ensure the supporting electrical infrastructure meets the highest standards.

During the relocation and upgrade of existing lines, the company embedded a "customer-first" philosophy, coordinating outage schedules meticulously, refining construction sequences repeatedly, and tightening control over both schedule and quality, thereby furnishing a rock-solid power foundation for the hospital's commissioning.

Looking ahead, the company will continue to apply a "nail-driving" mindset—remaining on site, enforcing stricter safety and quality oversight, pursuing pragmatic measures to guarantee uninterrupted power for people's livelihoods, and collaborating at higher efficiency to resolve construction challenges. The objective is to bring every project online safely, to premium quality, and on schedule, fortifying both the stability of the Taizhou grid and the reliability of its power supply.
