Jinan is set to open China's first cultural tourism block focusing on Yellow River culture, with trial operations beginning on Sept 21. Located in the city's Jiyang district, the new landmark is expected to draw over five million visitors annually.
The block will highlight the rich traditional culture and local delicacies from nine provinces along the river. Covering approximately 24 hectares and designed in traditional Chinese style, it features five theme squares, nine scenic areas, two dining shows, a Ne Zha-themed amusement zone and interactive performances.
During the day, visitors will be able to enjoy cultural experiences, interactive activities, and exercise, while at night, the block will come alive with light shows and themed events, offering an immersive experience.
