In the TV drama category, She and Her Girls, based on the true story of Zhang Guimei, a principal from a mountainous area in China who devoted herself to empowering rural girls through education, won both the Best TV Drama and Best Screenplay awards.

James Strong earned the Best Director for Mr Bates VS The Post Office. Francis NG from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region took home the Best Actor prize for his role in Escape From the Trilateral Slopes, while Chinese actress Tang Yan won the Best Actress for her performance in Blossoms Shanghai.
