Yu Hewei who also attended a memorial ceremony at the Beijing tomb last week, said, "Portraying General Wu Shi is a profound and honorable chapter in my acting career. Here, I pay my heartfelt tribute to the fallen heroes: we have received your final message! Thank you for your steadfast faith, loyalty and sacrifice — the people and history will remember you forever."

Yang Bei noted that through the series, the team hopes to show that true heroes are not invincible warriors, but ordinary people who keep moving forward despite knowing the end. "Their glory lies not in applause, but in unwavering faith," she said.

As a senior vice president of iQIYI, Yang added that the platform will continue its commitment to producing high-quality historical and espionage dramas, following works such as Enemy, The Rebel and Silent Honor, while developing new projects with depth and warmth.
