China Daily reporter Zhu Xingxin was given access to an isolation ward at a hospital affiliated to Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan, Hubei province on Monday. Medics from Beijing-based China-Japan Friendship Hospital in support of the province's battle against the novel coronavirus shout "Keep fighting, Wuhan! Stay strong, China!" before entering the intensive care unit at the hospital.
The Hengduan Mountains, located in Southwest China, offer some of the most magnificent scenery in the country. The main peak is called Mount Gongga. On the west slope of the mountain, at an attitude of about 4,000 meters, there is a large calcification pool group, locally called Quanhuatan.

In Southwest China, there is a rift zone with a length of more than 300 kilometers and a width of tens to hundreds of kilometers, which is called the Panxi Rift Valley. With untouched forests, mountains, sinkholes and floor drains, and other geological wonders, this place is known as the "natural geological museum".
As construction workers race against time to build two special hospitals in Wuhan, the center of the novel coronavirus outbreak, tens of millions of people around the country are watching the construction through a live streaming broadcast.
In Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, there are many different landscapes and remarkable views. Deep in its northern dense forest, there is an amazingly beautiful lake - the Kanas Lake. The color of the lake changes with the seasons, light and temperature difference between morning and evening.
With 14 volcanoes nearby, Wudalianchi, or "Five Connected Lakes", in Heihe city of Heilongjiang province, preserves typical volcanic landforms and serves as a giant natural volcanic museum.
