Jo:I'm Jo and this is Real English from BBC Learning English.

Jo:Well today's word is posh. P.O.S.H. posh.
Oliver:嗯，Jo，我覺(jué)得我知道這個(gè)詞兒，posh，它好像是前辣妹合唱團(tuán)中的成員，著名球星貝克漢姆的妻子的昵稱吧.
Jo:Oh very good Oliver. Yes David Beckham's wife Victoria also has the nickname Posh.
Oliver:這個(gè)詞兒是用來(lái)說(shuō)優(yōu)雅的人的嗎？比如有些上流社會(huì)的人，十分富有、衣著華麗、彬彬有禮、周旋在各種時(shí)尚社交場(chǎng)合什么的。
Jo:That's right Oliver. So people who are rich, with nice clothes, who speak nicely and have good manners and might be called posh. We might also call someone posh as a joke.
Oliver:你是指，說(shuō)什么人 posh也可能是開(kāi)玩笑的。比如說(shuō)，你的一個(gè)朋友，開(kāi)始喝很貴的葡萄酒，那你就可以拿他開(kāi)玩笑說(shuō)：
Jo:You're getting a bit posh aren't you?
