Zhou Hongyi, chairman and CEO of Qihoo 360 Technology Co, said to media during the third WIC Wednesday that with the popularity of internet of things (IoT) and internet of everything, internet has become the basis of the whole social operation.
奇虎360科技公司董事長(zhǎng)兼首席運(yùn)營官周鴻祎16日在第三屆世界互聯(lián)網(wǎng)大會(huì)上對(duì)媒體表示，隨著物聯(lián)網(wǎng)和萬物互聯(lián)越來越流行，網(wǎng)絡(luò)已經(jīng)成為整個(gè)社會(huì)運(yùn)行機(jī)制的基石。

"Paying no attention to the cybersecurity in the era of internet of everything means not only the key infrastructures even social management, business operations and urban operations will suffer catastrophic consequences," Zhou said.
“如果不重視互聯(lián)網(wǎng)的安全，不重視萬物互聯(lián)時(shí)代的安全，不僅是關(guān)鍵的基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施，連社會(huì)管理、企業(yè)運(yùn)營、城市運(yùn)營都會(huì)遭遇災(zāi)難性的后果?！?/p>

He said internet attacks in the era of IoT, whether in the degree or scope of damage, can be bigger. "As IoT connect internet, virtual and real world together, the original virtual attack on internet will cause real damage in the physical world."

Zhou said no countries can be a spectator or survivor in front of internet attacks and everyone is a victim. "Cybersecurity will become an important support for building a community of common future in cyberspace."
