 人員大改組 Shake-up

Google于3月26日宣布將裁員近200人，這是Google迄今為止最大幅度的裁員。作為最盈利的企業(yè)之一，Google如今也感受到了金融危機(jī)的寒意，這無疑反映了當(dāng)下全球時(shí)勢(shì)的嚴(yán)峻。Google此次裁員是為了縮減開支，以保護(hù)其利潤(rùn)額，防止股價(jià)繼續(xù)下滑。被裁的員工主要集中在廣告銷售部門。

這（Google的裁員幅度）和報(bào)業(yè)、零售業(yè)、汽車業(yè)、金融業(yè)去年的大規(guī)模裁員相比并不算什么，但是Google的“清理門戶”無疑反映了當(dāng)下全球形勢(shì)的嚴(yán)峻。
在上面的報(bào)道中，shake-up的意思是“（人員的）大改組、大變動(dòng)”，放在文中特指當(dāng)前許多行業(yè)的大規(guī)模裁員。例如：a series of personnel shake-ups（一系列的人事變動(dòng)）。
shake-up除了指人員的改組之外，也指“（政策等的）劇變”，例如：a political shake-up（政治劇變），a shake-up in regulations（規(guī)章制度的重大變革）。
shake-up因?yàn)槭怯蓜?dòng)詞詞組shake up轉(zhuǎn)變而來的名詞，因此也有和shake up相近的意思，如“搖勻”、“（把靠墊等）抖松”、“震驚、打擾”以及“激勵(lì)”等。例如：doing the pillow shake-up （抖動(dòng)枕頭使之恢復(fù)膨松）。又如：The drivers suffered a shake-up from the collision.（雙方司機(jī)因?yàn)樽曹嚩际荏@不?。e need some shake-ups at such hard times. （在這種艱難的時(shí)刻我們需要一些激勵(lì)）。
