Chinese Navy begins South China Sea exercises

The Chinese Navy has begun to carry out exercises in the South China Sea starting today, according to the Maritime Safety Administration.
The administration said in a navigational warning published late Tuesday on its website that the exercises would last three days. It released geographical coordinates of the drill zone, asking ships irrelevant to the event not to enter it. The administration did not elaborate.
