State Council appoints new heads of state asset, market regulators

BEIJING -- The State Council, China's Cabinet, announced the appointment and removal of several officials Tuesday.
Hao Peng was appointed head of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, replacing Xiao Yaqing.
Xiao Yaqing was appointed head of the State Administration for Market Regulation, replacing Zhang Mao.
