M-5 earthquake strikes Hualien county in eastern Taiwan

A 5.0-magnitude earthquake jolted Hualien County in eastern Taiwan at 12:05 pm Sunday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter, with a depth of 6 km, was monitored at 23.74 degrees north latitude and 121.57 degrees east longitude, said the CENC.
