On Nov 8, 2019, Chow Tsz-lok, a student from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, died of injuries from falling from a public carpark.
Holding a wake for Chow that night, the anti-government factions used the occasion to blame the police and instigated riots while circumstances leading to his death have remained unclear.
