HK passes bill on extension of maternity leave

Hong Kong's Legislative Council passed a bill on Thursday to extend the maternity leave from 10 to 14 weeks.
The government will foot the bill for the extended leaves, with a maximum of HK$80,000 ($10,300) for each employee. The new measure will be implemented from the end of this year.
