BEIJING -- China is still a developing country, and there is still a long way to go before it can achieve modernization, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang said Thursday.
The fundamental purpose of China's development is to enable the Chinese people to lead a better life, and China's development will be a major contribution to world peace, stability, development and prosperity, he said.
