Zhengzhou, capital city of Central China's Henan province, reports 11 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 16 asymptomatic cases as of 18:00 Saturday, according to the local disease prevention and control centre.?
The city, which was flooded by record severe rainstorms recently, reported a group of suspected COVID-19 cases on Saturday, according to an announcement on the city's official WeChat account.
The suspected cases were detected when local health authorities checked the community of an asymptomatic carrier, who was confirmed infected with the virus on Friday.
