Global journalists, influencers explore legacy of Confucius


The group visited various sites in Qufu related to Confucius such as the Luyuan village, the Temple of Confucius, Kong Family Mansion, Confucius Museum, and Nishan Sacred Land to explore the Confucius' life story and thinking.
Sherif Abbas Abdelsamie, a PhD student at the University of International Business and Economics, shared his insights on Confucius: "I think Confucius' teachings are still incredibly relevant today." He said he believed that his wisdom can guide us toward living more meaningful and harmonious lives in a world that often feels divided.
In addition to containing Confucius' hometown, Shandong has long been revered for its rich resources, extensive history and diverse cultures, and has increasingly attracted tourists locally and abroad to immerse themselves in its cultural charm.
