PLA conducts long-range live-fire drills in waters of East China Sea

The Eastern Theater Command of the People's Liberation Army conducted long-range live-fire drills in waters in the East China Sea on Wednesday morning, according to the command's spokesman.
Senior Colonel Shi Yi said in a statement that the command's ground force fired shells on mock targets, including major ports and energy infrastructure, adding that the precision artillery strike achieved desired results.
The operation was part of the "Strait Thunder-2025A" exercise, which was launched by the command on Wednesday morning, according to him.
