Hiding behind fishermen: the Philippines' provocation tactic

From June 15 to 18, the Philippines dispatched multiple vessels to carry out illegal operations near Banyue Reef and Jianzhang Reef in the South China Sea, according to the China Coast Guard (CCG).
While Manila claimed it was "fisheries protection", the reality is clear: civilians are being used as cover for escalating provocations and infringing actions.
China's position is firm. We have indisputable sovereignty over the Nansha Islands, including Banyue Reef and Jianzhang Reef. The CCG will continue regular law enforcement operations to safeguard national sovereignty and maritime rights.
