During the scorching summer heat, the Liaoning Provincial Museum has launched a series of characteristic cultural and creative cold treats inspired by its collection.

The offerings include more than 10 varieties, each designed to reflect the museum's artifacts while providing refreshment to visitors.

Among the most notable is an ice cream modeled after the Jade Pig Dragon, a 5,000-year-old artifact from the Hongshan culture. The treat replicates the relic's form in chocolate and cream flavors. Another popular option is the set of blind-box ice creams based on the Court Ladies Adorning Their Hair with Flowers handscroll, with each of the six flavors representing a different figure from the painting.

The museum also offers DIY ice creams, allowing visitors to customize their desserts with various toppings, accompanied by a complimentary hairpin as a keepsake.

Additionally, smoothie cups featuring the Auspicious Cranes painting come in collectible packaging.

The initiative is part of the museum's broader effort to integrate traditional culture into contemporary experiences.
