Three missing after flooding in Gansu

Three people are missing after flooding triggered by heavy rain swept through four townships in Yuzhong county, Gansu province, on Thursday evening, Gansu Daily reported.
Rescue teams from emergency services, police, transport, power, communications, and medical departments have been deployed to search for the missing, evacuate residents, and prevent further disasters.
Since 6 pm Thursday, Yuzhong county has experienced torrential rains. In its Xionglong Mountain areas, the precipitation reached 195 mm as of 6 am Friday, according to local authorities.
The downpour damaged power and communications in the mountainous area, leaving four villages with over 4,000 people stranded.
