國家主席習近平12月1日在哈拉雷同津巴布韋總統(tǒng)穆加貝舉行會談。習近平指出，中國和津巴布韋是真正的全天候朋友，中津傳統(tǒng)友誼源遠流長，歷久彌堅。

China and Zimbabwe, with their traditional friendship both having a long history and growing ever stronger now, are "real all-weather friends," said Xi, adding that they should not only be good friends on politics but also be good partners on development.
習近平指出，中國和津巴布韋是“真正的全天候朋友”，中津傳統(tǒng)友誼源遠流長，歷久彌堅。他同時表示，中津兩國不僅要做政治上的好朋友，還要做發(fā)展中的好伙伴。

“全天候朋友”（all-weather friends）這一經(jīng)常被中國使用的概念，其實是一個外來詞匯。1967年6月，時任贊比亞總統(tǒng)卡翁達首次訪華，受到中國的高規(guī)格接待。歸國后，卡翁達總統(tǒng)盛贊中國是贊比亞人民的“全天候朋友”。從此，中國開始在外交中頻繁使用“全天候朋友”來形容和某國的親密關系?！叭旌颉保╝ll-weather）作為航空業(yè)專有詞語，指的是“各種復雜氣象條件”，如全天候飛行（all-weather flight）、全天候投資組合（all-weather portfolio）。那么，引申出的“全天候朋友”，自然就是形容友誼在“各種條件考驗下”依然牢不可破。其它引申出來的詞還包括全天候戰(zhàn)略合作伙伴關系（all-weather strategic partnership of cooperation）。

兩國元首高度評價中津傳統(tǒng)友誼，共同規(guī)劃未來兩國關系發(fā)展，就深化務實合作（practical cooperation）達成重要共識。習近平指出，“中國永遠不會忘記老朋友（China will never forget its old friends）。我此次訪問津巴布韋，就是為了鞏固中津傳統(tǒng)友好，深化務實合作，推動兩國關系邁上新臺階，更好造福兩國人民（My visit is aimed at consolidating the China-Zimbabwe traditional friendship, deepening practical cooperation and lifting bilateral relations to a higher level, so as to bring more benefits to our two peoples）。”

津方高度贊賞中方始終對包括津巴布韋在內(nèi)非洲國家真誠相待，感謝中方長期以來給予津方各方面寶貴幫助。津方希望在國家經(jīng)濟社會發(fā)展中借鑒中國經(jīng)驗，繼續(xù)得到中方支持，在農(nóng)業(yè)、工業(yè)、基礎設施等領域加強同中方合作（learn from China's experience in socioeconomic development, receive more assistance from China and expand bilateral cooperation in such fields as agriculture, industry and infrastructure）。
