10月13日晚進(jìn)行的2006年世界杯足球賽亞洲區(qū)預(yù)選賽小組賽中，中國國家足球隊(duì)客場0比1負(fù)于東道主科威特隊(duì)，為小組出線蒙上了一層陰影。中國隊(duì)主教練阿里·哈恩賽后接受采訪時(shí)面色沉重，他在評價(jià)這場比賽時(shí)說：“中國隊(duì)在上半場本來有機(jī)會領(lǐng)先，但下半場卻輸?shù)袅吮荣?。我們出現(xiàn)了錯(cuò)誤，而科威特隊(duì)就是在等我們犯錯(cuò)誤。失球后比賽就變得非常艱難，我們再也沒能打出上半場那樣的節(jié)奏。我們的球隊(duì)在比賽中有一些好的表現(xiàn)，但今天下半場的中國隊(duì)不是我所熟悉的那支隊(duì)伍?！毙氯A社報(bào)道如下：Kuwait beat China 1-0 in a World Cup Asian zone Group 4 match on Wednesday.
