2025 CTA tour professional finals set for December in Macao

MACAO -- The 2025 CTA Tour Professional Finals (Macao) and China's National Tennis Championships will take place in the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) from Dec 1-7, marking the fifth consecutive year of the year-end tennis spectacle in Macao.
The announcement was made during a press conference held on Wednesday in the SAR, which noted that the event will feature men's and women's singles and doubles, with 16 singles players and eight doubles teams competing in a round-robin group stages, followed by knockout rounds.
Luis Gomes, president of the Macao SAR government sports bureau, stated that the continuation of this event in Macao will further promote tennis development, advance the integration of "sports+tourism," and contribute to the diversification of Macao's economy.
Notably, the 2025 "Zheng Jie Cup" Elite Junior Tennis Training Camp will debut in Macao. Zheng Jie, a Grand Slam doubles champion and vice chairman of the Chinese Tennis Association, underlined that the program is designed to promote junior tennis development.
The 2025 CTA Tour commenced in April in Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province.
